Merry Christmas and Happy New year 2025
“Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! “ Psa. 7:14 NKJV
I hope
this message finds you well as we welcome the new year, reflecting on God’s
abundant grace and faithfulness.
This year, we were especially blessed as our eldest son and his wife, who had
returned from America, welcomed a baby. My wife and I are thrilled to have
become grandparents for the first time. We find ourselves completely captivated
by the daily photos and videos of our grandson. Indeed, grandchildren are a
precious gift from God, aren’t they?
Since April, Katsunobu has been serving as Vice President of the university, which has kept him busy with travels across Japan and overseas. By God’s grace, his book, George Müller and the Origins of Christian Social Welfare (Kyobunkan,2023), was awarded the Japan Society of Social Welfare's academic prize. This past year has been filled with many blessings, for which we give thanks to the Lord.
We pray you will experience the Lord’s abundant blessings and guidance throughout the new year.
With prayers and warm wishes,
Katsunobu and Yukiyo Kihara
